WHAT IS THE FUTURE OF FOOTBALL AT YOUR INSTITUTION?  

That is the question every Division I-A University President in Ohio was asked.  Each was given a month to respond with the assurance that the response would be posted in its entirety.   Scroll down to see the responses from the presidents of Ohio's tax supported state universities.  In addition, there are comments from two attorneys highly knowledgeable on the subject of football concussion litigation.

University of Akron


University of Akron President Luis Proenza did not respond.


Bowling Green State University


 BGSU President Mary Ellen Mazey did not respond.

University of Cincinnati
UC President Santa Ono did not respond.

Kent State University

Kent State President Lester Lefton did not respond.


Attorney Jason Luckasevic filed the first concussion-related lawsuit against the NFL 
and continues to represent several hundred NFL players.   Football concussions, he 
says, is not an issue university presidents can afford to ignore.



Miami University

Miami University President David Hodge did not respond.

Ohio University

Ohio University President Roderick McDavis did not respond.


Ohio State University
Ohio State University Interim President Joseph Alutto did not respond.


University of Toledo

University of Toledo President Lloyd Jacobs did not respond.
